The trek begins from PARO and makes a destination to
the yak herders in the northern Bhutan and finally to
the base of Mount Cholomhari that is 7360 meters (24000ft)
high. Bhutanese regard this mountain as the holiest
mountain. The trek then catches the path on to remote
Lingshi Dzong, which once guarded the frontier with
Tibet. This trek offers fascinating/fabulous views of
the mountains including Chololhari, Jitchu Draake and
Tsheringkhang mountains besides stunning Himalayan scenery
and exceptional flora. You will encounter many yak-herders
with their hairy wards and their camps but few.
