Shalu - Nartang Trek-14 days

The main attractions of this Shalu - Nartang Trek are Tsetang town, Samye valley, Samye Monastery, Shalu Monastery (First Monastery in Tibet & built in (1779 A.D.), commonly known as Zhalu Monastery, the seat of Buton Rinpoche, Ngor Monastery, Nartang Monastery, Shigatse & Lhasa cities, Camping and trekking on Alpine areas having great sceneries.
This treks starts from Shigatse one of the famous city in Tibet, we will drive to Shalu Monastery & traverses west over a couple of small passes to Ngor Monastery. The routes provide you to experiences of several villages having uninhabited dry canyons. This trek cross two soft and dry passes having a name Showa- La & Char- La.



Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, Hotel transfer

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Day 03: Fly to Gonggor- Drive to Tsetang (Overnight at Guest House)

Day 04: Tsetang-Samye valley (Overnight at Guest House)

Day 05: Samye-Gyantse (Overnight at Guest House)

Day 06: Gyantse-Shalu Monastery (Overnight at camp)

Day 07: Shalu Monastery-Upper Lungsang (Overnight at camp)

Day 08: Upper Lungsang-Ngor Monastery (Overnight at camp)

Day 09: Ngor Monastery -Nartang Monastery (Overnight at camp)

Day 10: Nartang Monastery-Shigatse (Overnight at Guest House)

Day 11: Shigatse-Lhasa via Northern Highway (Overnight at Guest House)

Day 12: Full Day Lhasa Sightseeing (Overnight at hotel).

Day 13: Lhasa sightseeing (Overnight at hotel).

Day 14: Lhasa-Kathmandu by taking flight.
