MERA Peak
Mera Peak is the highest permitted trekking peak of
Nepal. It stands to the south of Everest and dominates
the watershed between the heavily wooded valleys of
the Hinku and Hongu Drangkas. The peak first climbed
was on May 1953 and the same route till date is the
standard one. There are many other routes to the peak,
but none of them are easy. Some of them require crossing
very high and difficult mountain passes. This climb
is a true mountaineering experience to behold. The others
mountain views accessible from the TOP of MEARA are
Kangchenjunga, (8586m) Makalu (8463m) and Baruntse (7220m)
in the east and the Mt Cho-Oyu (8201m), Ama Dablam (6812m)
and Kangtega to the west.

Royalty: US$ 350 (One team
up to 7 members).
Duration: 14days up to 28
days (Depend upon time availability and desire of trekking
in KHUMBU region that include EVEREST BASE CAMP, GOKEYO
etc.
