Island Peak ascends:
Island Peak, one of the most wanted peaks among climbers
in Khumbu Himalayan range is destination for many adventurers.
The peak has long been permitted by NMA (Nepal Mountaineering
Association) for the Himalayan adventurer, which offers
the greatest and closest view of the Tallest Mountain
that is Mt Everest and other scenic mountains such as
Ama Dablam (6812m) and Lhotse (8516m) in the Himalayan
opera.
The trek is of a 24-days trip departing from, and returning
to Katmandu. Initially, the trekking group joins the
Botanical Treks & Excursion in Katmandu then set
forward to Gokeyo via Namchhe bazaar. During the week
our professional Sherpa Guide and Service personal handle
the group providing enough logistic arrangements. The
Gokeyo Valley has some high altitude pasture that is
so much scenic and adventurous part of the Himalayan
Journeys. After Conquered the Peak Gooey Ri at 5300m
Our Sherpa Guide, who has vast knowledge about Himalayan
hidden trails, brings you cross over the High Pass Cho
La at the altitude of 5400m and that pass brings you
to Phereche and then to Khumbu Glacier Valley. Trekkers
continue their trek towards Mt Everest Base Camp and
the scenic viewpoint of Kalapathaar. Here at Kalapathaar
one experiences Mt Everest in a close eyes and we also
have enough acclimatization for our final challenge
to Island peak climb. After our 'Everest experience'
we approach the base camp for Island peak via a high
alpine pass. In the Imjatse valley Island peak enjoys
spectacular views of the North Side of Ama Dablam and
the sweeping flanks of Mt Nuptse and the worlds 5th
highest peak, Mt Lhotse.
To climb Island Peak one needs to be fit and energetic.

a safe passage on the journey providing the highest
level of safety.
After the successful ascend of Island peak we head down
to Lukla following Panbonche and Thyanbonche village
then to Namchhe Bazaar for the returning flight to Katmandu
